A sympathy card.

Hi there!

I hope you are having a great weekend!

I have a card to share for 2 challenges:

Freshly made sketches  ~  # 168

&

Casology   ~ Date

I needed a sympathy card, and I read somewhere, that in the end, a dash describes one's whole life, and that we therefore must be sure to make the most of  our  'dashes' ... the time between our date of birth, and our date of death.

I used the smaller Dahlia flower from penny black, and colored it with my watercolor pencils.

Thanks for visiting me today, and remember to make the best of TODAY!

Hugs

Joe, vrou, daai dahlia is mooi ingekleur!!! Pragtige kaartjie, vrou!!!

Your dahlia is so pretty, I had to take a good close look at it to see how you colored it. Not sure I could decipher exactly how you did it, though. You're so talented, Hannelie!

Your card is so pretty - the colors are very soothing. Interesting info about the 'dash'...never thought about it before in this sense.

Your card is for someone only one year older than I am. A sombre reminder to make the most of my 'dashes'.

Simply stunning as always Hannelie. Despite being a sympathy card which are so difficult to make it's beautiful and a perfect sentiment. Great minds think alike eh ... combining CASology and FMS. xx
