Thinking of you

Hi there!

How is Monday treating you so far? I hope well !

I had a creative morning and want to share a card I made with the inspiration of a couple of challenges :)

For my background I used a graphic rose stencil, cut with my Silhouette, and sponged with Avery Elle pigment ink in Pixie Pink.

I added my own computer generated sentiment (font : Typewriter), and a typewriter image available at Apex Cuttables  as a cutting file for the Silhouette.

To add interest and balance I added a small strip of black card stock on the left.

Challenges:

The card concept :  Inspiration photo - my card in a clean and graphic style.

Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge ~ Thinking of you.

Just us girls ~ Encouragement.

Thanks for visiting me today!

Have a great week :)

Hannelie

This is a beautiful card, Hannelie. I have a question for you: do you sketch your idea out on paper before you start designing in the Silhouette software, or do you just do it in one fell swoop on the computer? Inquiring minds want to know (he he).

This is SO a winner, Hannelie! And as a person who used a typewriter in my job (and then computers) every weekday for 45 years, your card stole my heart!! Hugs, Darnell

One thing about creating with a Silhouette is that you can find an image for every situation (read challenge), Hannelie. Your little green typewriter is so cute.

You continue to inspire me ......... love the reindeer card. Question.....can I use this Apex set with my Silhouette. This may seem like a dumb question but I am just learning what is possible and in the comments Silhouette was not mentioned.
