My cup of tea :)

Hi there!

Happy Monday and thanks for popping in to take a look at the card I have to share!

I'm joining the Fusion card challenge today where they have a beautiful picture to inspire us. I usually try to take on the challenge to combine the sketch and inspiration photo... it was a bit tricky for me this time, because of the layered nature of the sketch... so I looked at the sketch with CAS eyes 👀... and this is what happened in my craft room over the weekend :

I started by creating the polka dot pattern on the teacup ( I love tea ~ Uniko Studio )

Create a polka dot pattern with masking technique

To minimize the layers for a clean look, I masked the card front and stamped the background panel directly on the card base using Beautiful blooms set ~ Uniko Studio.

Inks used :

  • Versafine Onyx Black.
  • Altenew inks :  Parrot, Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite.

Teacup and flower were cut out using my Silhouette cameo and adhered to the card base with foam tape.

Have a great week!

  2. I was so taken by your polka dot teacup. I have a red one just like it that I inherited from my grandmother. Thank you for reminding me of someone precious in my life with your beautiful card.
